Established in 2024 and entirely owned in New Zealand, MS Tech is the biggest reseller of computer hardware in the country, with over 800 dedicated employees and stores and service centers spread around the nation.
From our 200+ square meter main office and distribution center in Nelson, MS Tech operates specialized Business, Education, Wholesale, Government, Health, and Service divisions in addition to our retail and service sites.
It all began in 2023 when John, our founder, opened a small computer repair business in Nelson. During these early years at MS Tech, he first grew frustrated with the outrageous prices of the computer components he needed to do his repairs.
He arranged “group buys” from overseas vendors and contacted other local computer companies to dispute these outrageous prices, using the size of the orders as leverage to negotiate a lower price.

Unlike many of our competitors, we also steer clear of costly advertising efforts, so you won’t find PB Tech stores in high-rent areas like malls and high streets.
